EPD is an environmental declaration intended to provide concrete, verified, and credible information on the environmental performance of a product or service. From a regulatory standpoint, it is defined as a “Type III Environmental Label.”
EPD assesses the entire life cycle of a product or service. Falpi was the first company in the professional cleaning sector to undertake the EPD certification process for its products, in accordance with the provisions of ISO 14040.

Falpi’s commitment to sustainability also extends to textile products: EPD-certified Monopanno.
Monopanno nonwoven cloth is among Falpi’s EPD-certified products. Based on the Life Cycle Assessment methodology, the declaration enables a clear and reliable evaluation of the product, from production to final disposal, in accordance with international standards and verified by an independent third-party body.
The EU Ecolabel is the European Community’s environmental product label. It identifies products that have passed a series of strict environmental compatibility criteria established at EU level.
The EU Ecolabel, based on ISO 14024, is defined in the National Action Plan for Green Public Procurement (NAP GPP) as a “basic reference” for assessing more environmentally friendly cleaning products.

Falpi has extended this commitment to its trolley range as well, certifying 5 Kubi Pro Big-Foot wheeled cabinets:
5 Kubi Pro Big-Foot wheeled cabinets are EU Ecolabel certified. These solutions are designed to be robust, durable, and easy to maintain, reducing environmental impact throughout their entire life cycle.

The primary objective of GPP is to create the conditions, at European level, to increasingly shift public administration purchasing towards low-impact products.
Falpi follows the objectives of GPP:
- Reducing environmental impacts
- Promoting sustainable consumption and purchasing models
- Stimulating innovation
- Protecting competitiveness
- Improving the image of Public Administration
- Enhancing the skills of public buyers
- Rationalizing public spending
